Assalammualaikum...
She stepped off the bus with heavy heart. It's been years since the last time she set her feet there. She made her move out of the building, trying to leave the unwanted traces behind but as soon as she arrived at the entrance of the building, the rain started to pour heavily, stopping her from leaving the place. Trapped at the entrance of the building, she started to scan the scenery outside of the door and her eyes stopped on a tree, 500 meters from the place she was standing.
"Where are you..? I've just arrive.."
The message was sent and she immediately made her move to the main entrance. As soon as she arrived at the door, her phone vibrated, and a familiar name appeared on the phone screen. Without wasting any moment, she answered the call.
"Assalammualaikum.. I'm already here, on a motorbike under the tree.."
"Which tree?"
She kept looking around, trying to search for him but failed to recognize him. It was their first meeting after all..
"I'm on a motorbike, looking at you.."
And only by then, she could recognize him and suddenly, her heart beat increased. The guy was looking at her, smiling calmly and waved at her. She approached him slowly and he greeted her with a bubbly voice.
"So, where should we go now..? What time would your class started..?"
"Seven.. So we only had just some time left.. Perhaps, we could catch up while walking me to class..?"
His round eyes turned wider, and making a hand signal of walking, confirming if he heard it right..
"Yup, you can't expect me to ride the bike with you, right..?"
He smiled and asked her to wait for him to park his bike properly. Done with the parking, they started to make the move, walking her to the college.
"Can we stop at Mc'D for a while..? A mate asked me to buy us some dinner, since we would finish the class late..?"
"Sure, why not..?"
Once she's done buying the meal, they continued their journey.. It was 10 minutes of walk from the bus station to her college and he made use of the time to joke around with her.
"Are you sure you're just going to eat that for dinner..? I wanted to treat you a proper meal, perhaps, rice to ensure you're filled..Can I..?"
"Umm.. If you insist, we could drop by at the Central Market, there's a food court there and grab the chicken rice for a takeaway.."
Agreed to her suggestion, they stopped by at the food court for a while and continued their journey to her college, which was only across the road of Central Market, just nearby of the Petaling Street. In order to reach her college, they had to walk on a road which was filled with quite a number of flower shops. The strong fragrance of the flowers was accompanying their steps and the flowers themselves was a self pleasure for their view.
"Do you love flowers..?"
"Why, do you want to buy me one..?"
With a smile, he answered, "I want to but one day, Insya-Allah.."
The noise of people chattering made her realized that she had lost in her thought.. She wanted to avoid that place badly before but now, she decided to ignore it.. She walked along the memorial path, stopping by at the Central Market's food court to grab chicken rice before she finally made her move back to her house.written by;

ReplyDeleteIt was hard to be at the place that hold the unforgettable memories to us. Membuatkan kita pasti terkenang akan memori itu. Nak dilupakan tapi tak boleh. Bukan sebab kita tak cuba lupa, tapi memang tak boleh. Seolah2 sudah berada lekat dalam fikiran.
Kenangan tetap menjadi kenangan. Tak perlu dilupakan. Baik buruk pasti ada hikmah di setiap yang berlaku =)
