Assalammualaikum.. I wanted to find a job while waiting for January to appear, as my degree would only started at the end of January next year... As I was viewing the insta story, an old friend of mine promoted a vacancy and the office is located at the North Tower of The Gardens..
To cut the story short, I only manage to pass the first session and didn't even get for an interview as they sent me back immediately.. There was a slight of frustration inside me. but there's the other side of me that remains so calm, since I had been praying for Allah to ease my journey, if the job was meant for me..
With those mixed emotions, I stepped inside the Mid Valley.. I didn't want to go home but I hated the idea of being alone either.. I tried to contact anyone whom I know in KL but since everyone was occupied that day, I decided to just have my little "me" time.. Since Thor was on hype on that period, I bought a ticket to the movie and while waiting for the screening hour, I decided to just take a stroll.. I'm not a shopping person to be exact, so I aimed to grab something for a quick bite...
That was when I saw Caffebene, just nearby the cinema counter.. I've been aiming to try the signature menu, "bingsu" but looking at the portion and reflecting that I'm alone, I decided to just forget the intention and focused on the pastry instead.. It was not easy to make a decision even on the pastry as everything on the menu displayed manage to capture my mind but being a huge blueberry lover, Blueberry Bene Pastry managed to caught my attention the most..!
The view from the top, and as you see, there's a blueberry dropping itself from the pastry.. |
More blueberries inside...! |
I would love call this "the blueberry heaven pastry" as it's filled with full-sized berries..! Retailed at RM18.90, it might be a bit pricey but looking at the fresh blueberry jam, it's worth every single penny and to be honest, it managed to make me totally full instead.. I even had to force myself to finish it so yeah, it would be better if you have a company instead of being alone.. 😆
My favorite space from the cafe, with quite a number of books to be chosen while waiting for the order to be completed, it managed to make me feels so much better and less awkward.. I'm loving you, Caffebene and would definitely be coming back for "bingsu" and other pastries.. ❤
